Kaersutite, a possible international microprobe standard

Abstract
Two kaersutite amphiboles from the Kakanui mineral breccia, South
Island, New Zealand, have been prepared for electron microprobe
analysis. Chemical analyses of bulk samples by XRF techniques
are tabulated. These samples may be suitable as international
standards.
Résumé
Deux échantillons de kaersutite (amphibole) extraits de
la brèche à minéraux de Kakanui, South Island,
Nouvelle Zélande, ont été préparés
pour l'analyse par microsonde. La composition chimique de ces
échantillons établie par spectrométrie de
fluorescence-X est présentée. Ces échantillons
peuvent servir comme échantillons de référence.
