Abstract
An automated multidetector system for instrumental thermal neutron
activation of geological and environmental materials was used
for the measurement of up to 34 elements in six National Bureau
of Standards Standard Reference Material coal samples. Good agreement
was achieved with NBS certified and literature consensus values.

Un système automatisé avec des détecteurs
multiples pour l'analyse instrumentale par activation neutronique
des échantillons géologiques et de l'environnement
a été employé pour le dosage de 34 éléments
dans six matériaux de référence du NBS. Un
accord favorable est constaté entre les valeurs certifiées
du NDS et celles publiées.
